Why I chose Animas High School
|
I chose Animas High School, mostly because of the hands on learning. In middle school I switched from a public school to a charter school and it completely changed my life, academically, and socially. This transformation has stuck with me, so choosing Animas was a no brainer. I love the project based learning style I like to work on projects and use my creativity to make beautiful work. Not only is Animas project based learning school, but it also has an awesome student teacher relationship. I respect my teachers as educators, but also look at them as friends and people who I can trust and enjoy having in my life. The culture is one that is fun to learn in. You are pushed to do your best, but also at your own speed and how you like to do so. Another good quality of Animas is how accepting everyone is, it is not hard to make friends and everyone gets along pretty well. Overall Animas is just a good school to go to before going into the “real world” and I am happy I chose to go here.
